Transparent Generosity

Recently we were really happy to help out the lovely people at Hope House, in Nottingham, by replacing 21 of their old tired windows with energy efficient, beautiful new ones.

Hope wrote in their newsletter:

"Hope House is a 90 year old church building with, until recently, rusting and broken single glazed windows. So we are very grateful for the generosity of Acorn Windows, who agreed to fit 21 windows and a door at less than cost price. We are also very grateful to Beeston Consolidated Charity, The Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation and Help the Homeless who each contributed £2000 to the replacement cost. Just in time for winter the building is now much warmer and more welcoming and the outside of the building is much more attractive. Hopefully the gas bills will also be a lot less this winter!!"
