Acorn Windows is pleased to support the return of a much-loved local community tradition at Fernwood School, helping to bring back the Senior Citizens’ Easter Afternoon Tea for care homes and elderly residents in the Wollaton area.

The event, organised in partnership with Wollaton Park Rotary, was a popular annual fixture before being paused during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year marks a welcome revival, with the school keen to once again open its doors to older members of the community for an afternoon of hospitality, entertainment and connection.

Acorn Windows has contributed towards the event, helping organisers meet the costs of catering, refreshments and Easter treats for guests. The afternoon will feature a traditional afternoon tea, alongside live entertainment provided by Fernwood School pupils, creating a warm and inclusive experience for all those attending.

The Senior Citizens’ Easter Afternoon Tea will take place on Wednesday 25th March 2026 and is free to attend for invited guests.
