Acorn Windows is delighted to have supported a recent Easter Afternoon Tea at The Fernwood School, which brought together students and members of the local community for a truly memorable event.
Held on 25th March, the afternoon welcomed just under 100 guests, including elderly residents from the surrounding area. The event provided an opportunity for people to come together, enjoy good company, and experience a warm, welcoming atmosphere created by Fernwood’s students and staff.
Guests were treated to a traditional afternoon tea, served by students, alongside a programme of entertainment hosted and performed by pupils. Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with one guest praising the “delicious food and copious amounts of tea and coffee” and describing the student-led entertainment as “superb” and full of talent.
The event was made possible through the support of local businesses, including Acorn Windows. In a letter of thanks, Headteacher Mr Chris Gell expressed his appreciation, noting that without such donations, the school would not have been able to host the event. He described the afternoon as a great success that left a lasting impression on all who attended.
Kieron Fisher, Learning Support Leader at Fernwood, also extended his thanks, highlighting the positive impact the event had on both students and the wider community.
