House Extension in Nottingham

This was a really interesting garage conversion in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The garage was a single car one, and also had a different floor level to the main house. As a result we needed to raise the garage floor, so it was on a level. Finally to ensure that the conversion had both light and ceiling height we installed Velux windows and a pitched, tiled roof to match the house. The customer finished off the conversion with joinery from a local carpenter, adding fitted wardrobes and solid wood doors.

We had the pleasure of replacing windows in at Darlton Hall Farm in Newark.

To complement the period of the house, on the side elevations of the house we fitted Silver Oak Grained on White Grained to the internal windows from the Residence Range of Flush fitting Timber Weld Suites. We also fitted White Grained Vertical Sliding Sash Windows in the bedrooms.

These windows perfectly match the style, elegance and sophistication of the house with Timber look windows whilst achieving outstanding thermal benefits, eliminating the high maintenance, and associated problems with traditional timber versions.

Wysall is a picturesque village that is 11 miles (18 km) south of Nottingham in Nottinghamshire.

On this job we fitted new windows, a front door and also a large Bi-Fold door to the rear of the property. All finished in a striking grey that compliments the propery.

Home Extension with Bi-Fold Doors, Skylights & French Doors

For this project we extending the whole back of the property, creating a much larger lounge area and also a new dining room. The dining room also has the ability to convert to a downstairs bedroom at a later date, effectively ‘future proofing’ the house.

The extension features a large bi-fold door, opening up the back of the property onto the garden. The extension also has 2 opening skylights bringing even more natural light into the room, during the winter months. Both the new lounge extension and the extra room both benefit from contemporary floor to ceiling radiators, keeping both spaces nice a warm in the winter.

Throughout the rest of the beautiful property we also designed and fitted new doors (including a 2 colour composite front door) and windows both upstairs and down.

For this property we installed a large bi-fold door to an extension at the the back. We also fitted new windows at the front, including a bay window. All of the windows and the bi-fold were finished in a very popular grey, with white on the inside.

The Plough Pub – Keyworth

Bi Folds, Windows and Doors - Keyworth, Nottinghamshire

Some of you might remember this property as The Plough, a pub that was on Selby Lane, Keyworth.

The original pub was constructed in 1960, closing in 2017.

Since then the pub has been completely renovated into a beautiful residential property. Acorn supplied and fitted all the new windows, doors including the huge Bi Folds at the back and also the Bay Window at the front.
