House Extension in Nottingham
This was a really interesting garage conversion in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The garage was a single car one, and also had a different floor level to the main house. As a result we needed to raise the garage floor, so it was on a level. Finally to ensure that the conversion had both light and ceiling height we installed Velux windows and a pitched, tiled roof to match the house. The customer finished off the conversion with joinery from a local carpenter, adding fitted wardrobes and solid wood doors.

“It is now four months since Acorn completed the main build of our new extension. Since then we have had an internal door fitted and sliding door storage installed. I have also managed to decorate and furnish the new room. When Tracy and I decided to have the extension built we were hoping that it would blend in with the main house and we would have a new room we could use not only as a living area but also as a guest bedroom.
