Home Extension with Bi-fold and two Roof Windows

This is a smaller extension, but with the addition of a full width bi-fold door it makes the space feel bigger than it actually is.

Outside the side window and bi-fold both have a modern looking dark grey PVCu, whilst inside the white frames compliment the smaller space.

To further add to the feeling of space, there are two opening roof windows to finish off the extension.

This new extension was a pleasure to build, creating a beautiful new open plan space for the house. We installed a huge aluminium profile bi-fold door and were asked to split the new space up to create a downstairs utility room and toilet. The resulting extension is flooded with natural light on account of the large atrium roof (or lantern roof), which along with the bi-fold makes the new room light and liveable.

The interior finishing and furnishing is so eye catching and inviting.

Wysall is a beautiful village in Nottinghamshire, 11 miles south of Nottingham. We design, built and installed this stunning Orangery, which includes Bi-Fold doors and an Atrium roof.

As is always the case with Bi-Fold doors, these create a space in the house that becomes a ‘connection point’ to the garden. When they’re fully open, and you spend time in the Orangery, you really do feel like the outside and the inside become one.

Add the large atrium roof, bringing sunlight into the room, and you have yourself the perfect space to enjoy all year round.

The Acorn Windows Show Homes and Conservatory Village

We recently developed and included the property 241 Trowell Road into our conservatory village. You can now not only walk around our main property 243, but also see more of our Windows, Doors, and Orangeries in action.

In this case we have renovated the whole house from the windows and doors, to a new extension with atrium roof, to a new kitchen, bathroom and even driveway.

This project features a brand new brick built Orangery with Atrium Roof. Combined with French Doors with side panels the finished job really brings light and space to the house. All finished in ‘maintenance free’ 2 colour uPVC, white on the inside of the house and an eye catching grey on the outside.

Orangery – Keyworth

Orangery - Keyworth, Nottinghamshire

This was an interesting Orangery style build in Keyworth, Nottinghamshire. The Orangery extends around the side of the property to replace an outdated building that needed replacing. The finished job has lots of light on account of the skylights and also the large amount of glass running around the sides of the house.

All the frames are finished in a grey with a white interior, making the inside of the Orangery bright and the exterior eye catching. The roof was tiled and the whole extension insulated, perfect to keep costs down in the winter and make the space cozy in the colder months.
