Home Extension with Bi-fold and Lantern (Atrium) Roof
If you’re thinking of adding more space to your home then an extension like this is a perfect solution.
With a stunning contemporary look, we added a large lantern (or atrium) roof to flood the new space with light. Atrium styled roofs like this were first developed in the 19th and 20th centuries and were often located in a building’s main lobby.
Inside, the ceiling is fitted with LED recessed lighting and there are 2 vertical wall radiators to keep the room nice and warm.

This property already had an extension, but they wanted the rest of the garage converted to allow them to create a home office. When converting the garage we made sure the bricks across the front of the property matched so that both conversions matched seemlessly.
At a time where more and more people find are working from home, garage conversions offer a great solution.

We added a really useful new extension to this property in Ravenshead. The extension has a tiled roof and brickwork that matches the property perfectly.
Alongside the extension we also fitted a new bi-fold door and full height window to the newly refurbished kitchen. The frames were in Rosewood on the outside, to match the rest of the house, and white on the inside.

For this conservatory the customer wanted a solid roof which still allowed light into the conservatory. The best way to acheive this was via 2 skylights (in this case the customer want skylights that didn’t open), on on each site of the tiled hip roof. This not only gives the feeling of an extension, but also the skylights capture light arriving on both sides.
Inside there are french doors, ceiling lights, radiator and windows finshing with a plastered wall.

Conservatory with Glass Roof, French Doors and Vertical Radiator
It was a freezing December day when we took these images (and the video) of a lovely conservatory we built in Stapleford, in Nottingham. You can see just how cold it was from the powder blue sky to the frost on the outside of the glass roof. Even so, inside it was lovely and warm, thanks to the large vertical radiator and the energy efficient double glazed units keeping the cold at bay.
A lovely bright, open and inviting conservatory connected to the kitchen and dining room. With french doors, ceiling lights, radiator and a cat flap fitted in the wall.

This is a beautifully refurbished bungalow in Keyworth, Nottinghamshire. We were responsible for adding new windows on the front and back in a sleek dark grey on the outside, and white on the inside. Alongside the windows the customer designed their own porch which we then built to their specifications. The porch was designed with full height windows and also an eye catching purple composite door. The finished job not only looks great but also brings lots of light into the entrance way.
To the reverse of the property we added a large bi-fold door, a box bay window (which is used as a window seat) and also a bi-fold window in the kitchen. If you’ve not seen a bi-fold window before they are great at bringing lots of light and air into the house in the summer… the customer also said it was fantastic for BBQ’s as you could pass drinks and food from the kitchen to the garden with ease!
